If you offer the correct circumstances and minimal care, this plant will look and feel its best. These plants require indirect light and warmth. They enjoy humidity, so place the container on top of a dish of rocks in the water, or spritz your plant on a regular basis. Check that the pot drains effectively and that the soil is damp but not wet. Once a year, apply a balanced fertiliser. The lovely foliage of Song of India, like all dracaenas, will yellow with age. When the plant’s bottom leaves turn yellow, simply clip them off to maintain the plant looking nice and tidy. You can also trim and shape the plant as needed, and it will require staking as it grows larger.

It does not require direct sunlight. song of India plants growing best in indirect lighting / semi-shade lighting. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves.

Temperature
The best temperatures are 68 to 77 F. (20-30 C.).
But it can survive in extreme conditions too like 30-35 C, but the plant will turn darkish.

Potting Mix
You can use our natural potting mix or you can use peat moss with sandy soil but drained well.
